Three schools in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea have recently formed a Deanery partnership-the Chelsea Deanery Partnership: Christ Church CE School, Chelsea; Holy Trinity CE School, Sloane Square; St Cuthbert with St Matthias CE School, Earls Court. The launch took place on 12th May 2017 when staff, Priests, LDBS and LA representatives, governors and some children from each school met together. Children read out quotes collected from their peers about their schools.
The afternoon launch was a great success and we are now looking forward to working closely as a small group of schools. The aim is to raise educational standards, promote staff development and also achieve great financial efficiency.
‘Our school is an exciting place to learn in. We always look forward to the next year and what will happen… some things are always the same and some things are new in each year group, it makes learning really good.’ Christ Church
‘I love all the different opportunities we are given such as planting seeds from space given by Tim Peake, the sport events at Chelsea Academy, going to Wembley Stadium to watch the Women’s FA Cup Final, the Mozart performance, going horse-riding, going on to school journey, the end of year production for Year 6, the leavers’ service and all of the other things which we do!’ Holy Trinity.
‘What makes my school special is that it is a Christian school but everyone is invited, no matter what religion. We have kind children and we also have loads of activities-learning is fun and educational.’ St Cuthbert with St Matthias
