We are delighted to share with you that St John’s CofE School in Harrow has been awarded the Gold R.E. Quality Mark Award.

Earlier this year St John’s applied for ‘The R.E Quality Mark Award’. After a very thorough assessment process they and the LDBS are very pleased to announce that St John’s was awarded ‘Gold’.

This award celebrates the high quality teaching and learning of Religious Education within the school and the outreach training they also deliver to other schools. The assessor strongly stated that the school had met ‘above and beyond’ the criteria for ‘Gold’.  The final report described the school as:

‘High quality RE lies at the heart of St John’s School. It provides a strong example which can inspire and encourage other schools.
St John’s School enjoys truly supportive Governors, Headteacher and an experienced and passionate subject lead, with well trained staff and appreciative parents’

They feel incredibly proud of this achievement!

St John’s is happy to support other schools in the diocese who may also be wishing to apply for this award.
