Job title: Administrative Officer (21 hours) and Clerk to the Governing Body (14 hours)

Salary: Administrative Officer – Scale 5 points 22-25, £22,506 – £24,510 full time (pro-rata £11,515 to £12,540)

Clerk to Governing Body – Scale 6 points 26-28, £25,242 – £26,805 full time (pro-rata £8,610 to £9,143)

Combined pro-rata pay £20,125 – £21,683pa – depending upon experience and qualifications

Contract type: One contract for each role totalling 35 hours per week, 40 weeks a year (term time and includes some evening meetings)

Working hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (core hours, although these may change)
Contract term: Permanent

Start date: As soon as possible

St Mary’s is a popular and successful three-form entry primary school, deemed Outstanding by Ofsted, with a strong Christian ethos. We have 660 pupils on three sites and a team of professionals dedicated to the needs and achievement of all pupils. We are looking for someone to fill two roles with separate responsibilities(please note we are willing to accept applications for each role separately):

The successful applicant will

  • Provide general clerical, administrative and front of house services;
  • Act as a focal point for enquiries and visitors to the school;
  • Ensure the smooth running of the governing body: preparing agendas and meeting papers, taking a distributing minutes, giving administrative support, keeping records and up to date information on policies and date of reviews as well as providing procedural and legislative advice

Interviews: Week commencing Monday 30th October 2017
