The Green School Trust is seeking to appoint a dynamic, collaborative and innovative Head of Year to join The Green School for Boys in September 2019. (Two posts are available)
The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner able to demonstrate the capacity to inspire students and ensure that they make exceptional progress across the curriculum. They will be responsible for ensuring that students’ emotional well-being, safety and conduct enables every child to succeed. They will play a significant role in contributing to the curricular and co-curricular life of the school and will be expected to be flexible and creative in their approach. The ability to offer maths; science, computer science, physical education or English would be an advantage. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspirational individual who will be able to contribute to the development of the Inclusion team at the school.
The Green School for Boys is part of The Green School Trust, a Church of England Multi Academy Trust which also runs the highly successful Green School for Girls. This is an exciting time to join the Trust and be part of the founding staff team as The Green School for Boys begins its third year in September 2019 and moves into a superb new building in September 2020.
A full programme of support for all new staff is provided. CPD and the development of leadership skills is an important part of the school culture and candidates who wish to progress their careers are encouraged to apply.
